Had a fantastic lunch today at The Rattle Bar & Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The location is great and easy to get to, and the cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxed meal.What really stood out is how affordable it is—you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy dining here. Highly recommended!
I had such a great experience at Rattle Bar and Restaurant for lunch. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavourful, and clearly high quality. What really stood out was that it’s not just a beautiful spot with great service and a stunning view, but the prices are incredibly reasonable.It feels like the kind of place you’d usually save for a special occasion, but it’s actually affordable enough to become a regular go-to. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends and family to try the breakfast and dinner menus. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Probably slightly more expensive than some other places but omg totally worth it. Been here for dinner and breakfast and the food is next level. Backed up by fantastic service and a great view. Will be back.
Food was suberb, loved the vibe! With the beach right across the road, it has a fantastic view with something to do after eating. Had mezze here which is a great idea! never heard of it.
My family of 10 had the most spectacular lunch on Sunday with shared Mezza + plates. Thank you Stephan, your amazing chef and lovely and attentive team as made a special family lunch unforgettable. Cannot recommend highly enough!
I went here for lunch a few days ago and could not recommend it more! The ocean view was great, options on the menu all sounded delicious, and there is a playground that is visible from any table in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken wrap and it very much exceeded my expectations. The service was great, with Manuela and Alisha as my servers, giving me some great recommendations. 10/10
A great beachside experience! I had the mussels (delicious) and Muxi had the special sirloin steak (with potato gratin - excellent!). Highly recommended - I shall return!Have a swim beforehand - great beach, wonderful surf!
I thoroughly enjoyed dinner with my husband and lunch with a group of 12 friends as part of my 40th birthday getaway to Emerald Beach.The food was outstanding, with fabulous flavours and presentation. Especially noteworthy were the tender scallops; crispy, mouth-watering king prawns; roasted cauliflower and delicious lamb.Steffan was very accomodating and kind at every step of the way. He and his team provided friendly and attentive service which made everyone feel at ease. Steffan offered a set menu option for our larger group which was brilliant - great range of flavours, generous quantities and everyone was impressed. There was great live music on the Friday night which adds so much to the chilled out atmosphere.Many thanks for making this milestone so memorable and for offering such great dining on the Coffs Coast. We will spread the word.See you next time!
For food, atmosphere, and location I would give this 5 stars.If I could, I would give it 6 stars, because of the kindness and generosity of their staff, who prepared an amazing grilled fish and sweet potato puree for our 8 month old daughter who is weaning. For such a great restaurant to go out of its way is amazing, and shows genuine dedication to the customer and experience. Thank you!(Also, she loved it too, the most she’s ever eaten!!)
If you’re in the area, do not miss having a meal at Rattle. We enjoyed our date night here. Started with a spicy chorizo and a delicious mezze plate with warm pita and labneh. Then a shared wagu, ordered medium rare and cooked to perfection, with a side of charred broccolini. Honestly, one of the tastiest meals we’ve had in a while. Desserts were also memorable. And to top it off, a memorable Pinot noir. Top marks
A brilliant location. The food and service was exceptional. We both had the Corn Fritters. When they arrived, it was a pleasant surprise to see the presentation. They looked too good to eat!
Had a lovely valentines lunch here although the wrap we ordered was a bit soggy the oysters were beautiful 😍 had to order seconds.the drink menu was different but enjoyableWould love to see a pina colada on the menu !The burrata was one of the best we’ve had 😍
What an amazing restaurant, right next to the beach, we arrived to a lovely welcome for evening dinner and was seated outside facing the beach, the drinks and food arrived and it was fantastic, delicious and beautifully presented. I had the best coffee here too; we had three courses and found the bill good value for the high quality of food and drink.The staff and Steffan were amazing. The restaurant is also just 1km away from the A1, Pacific Highway. This is definitely a place to visit, after visiting many countries and lots of places in Australia one to put on your list.
We recently went to Rattle for breakfast and it was fantastic. The ocean view is absolutely beautiful and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating which is great depending on the weather.The food was excellent. I had the corn fritters with avocado and egg which were delicious. The bacon and egg roll was made exactly how we asked (no butter or sauce), which was really appreciated. The vegetarian mushroom dish was also a winner.The coffees were great and the staff were attentive without being over the top - really friendly and easy service.It’s great to see breakfast back at Rattle under the new owners. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back.
This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food was beautiful and the service genuinely friendly. We felt so welcome having lunch with our 8-month-old baby. When we realised we’d forgotten food for her, the staff kindly offered sweet potato purée which she absolutely loved. Such a thoughtful, generous gesture. We’ll definitely be back.
My good friend and I dined on fri 23 Feb , We had a wonderful time and I couldn't fault the freindly service on point, great food and vibe .Going back soon to try there breakfast. Cheers
Llegamos hambrientos. La cocina estaba cerrada y solo pudimos elegir platos fríos. Aún así, la oferta fue variada. Pedimos una ensalada de burrata con jamón y focaccia, salmón con calabacín y un bocadillo caliente. Todo acompañado por cerveza local fresquita y música agradable de fondo. Para acabar pastel de queso casero con helado de vainilla. El local está enfrente de una playa preciosa. Un buen alto en el camino. Os lo recomiendo 100x100.

Have lived in Coffs for 30 years and the dinner we had at Rattle recently was probably the best we have had during this time. Really fresh food with fantastic flavours. Could improve on service around drinks, we had to ask for more and even then it was a bit slow but food was worth any wait.
